This notice covers the bayb.ai alpha waitlist. The dating app and AI companion are still being developed; this website does not collect dating profiles, matches, or AI conversations.

What we collect

When you sign up, we store your email address, signup and expiry dates, confirmation that you are 18 or older, your consent to alpha updates, the version of this notice, and a random unsubscribe identifier.

Why we collect it

We use your email, with your consent, to share bayb alpha launch and testing updates. Joining the list does not create an app account or guarantee access. We do not sell the waitlist or share it with advertisers.

Where it goes

The website and waitlist database run on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes network information, including IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect the service. Our signup application does not save IP addresses, browsing history, or request bodies in application logs. We do not add advertising trackers, analytics cookies, or third-party tracking scripts.

Authorized bayb administrators can access the waitlist to manage signups and send updates. This is not an anonymous signup. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own.

How long we keep it

We remove your waitlist record from the active database after 180 days, with expired records checked daily, or sooner if you ask to leave. Cloudflare recovery backups may retain deleted records until those backups expire under the provider's retention schedule.

Leaving the list or asking about your data

Email beta@bayb.ai from the address you signed up with to withdraw consent, request access, correct your address, or ask us to delete your signup. Future alpha emails will include an unsubscribe link. We may need to confirm that a request comes from the owner of the address.

For adults

The waitlist and planned dating app are for adults aged 18 and over. If you believe someone under 18 has signed up, please contact us so we can remove the record.

As bayb develops

We'll provide separate, clear information about app data and AI conversation handling before those features become available. If the purpose of this waitlist changes, we'll update this notice and seek new consent where needed.
